Newest submarine class in operation with the Royal Swedish Navy, RSwN, until A26 Blekinge Class enters service. The class consist of three submarines. This model depicts the Gotland Class after it underwent a Command & Control-system upgrade around 2005. Later it underwent a mid-life upgrade.

The next generation of submarines for the Royal Swedish Navy. It is expected to enter service in early 2030’s. The RSwN is planned to get two. Poland has signed a contract for three submarines.

In the late 1980’s Australia procured six submarines of what became the Collins Class. They have suffered some teething problems mainly within the Combat System but suffered more from dishonest reporting. They are the largest submarines designed and co-constructed by Kockums (now SAABKockums) in Sweden.

Vehicles

The Combat Vehicle CV90 is a family of Swedish tracked armoured vehicles, first entering service with the Swedish Armed forces in the early 90’s. It is produced by BAE Systems Hägglunds. It has since been exported to eight other countries including Ukraine. A total of about 1400 vehicles of different version have been built with the majority being the Infantry Fighting Vehicle, IFV. With MkIV in development the latest version in service or about to enter service is the CV9035 MkIIIC, which this model portrays.

The BvS10 is a family of armoured articulated all-terrain armoured tracked vehicles. It is the successor to the classic Bv206 of which over 11.000 was built and was/is still in service in more than 37 countries. It is produced by BAE Systems Hägglunds.

The BvS10 Beowulf is unarmoured version of the well-established armoured BvS10. It is currently in service with the US Army.

The Dassault Mirage F1 is a French fighter and attack aircraft designed and manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It was developed as a successor to the Mirage III family during the 1960’s. It has been in operation with 14 air forces of which five still operates it. It is estimated that a total of 726 have been built.

Gripen E is the latest incarnation of the famous Swedish fighter jet, built by SAAB. Although very similar to the earlier version A and C it is a completely new aircraft with a few common components/systems. Not considered a 5th generation fighter jet it is stil very competitive due to a highly advanced electronics warfare suit and sensor fusion capabilities that can trace its origin to the j37 Viggen. It is in service with the Brazilian and Swedish airforces and ordered by Ukraine. Other potential customers have shown great interest, such as Canada.
